## Summary

The Town Council will meet on September 8th to address several key issues impacting our community. A significant portion of the meeting will be dedicated to filling vacancies on important boards and commissions, including the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, the Water & Sewer Commission (representing Fletcher), and the ABC Board. Residents may be interested in observing discussions regarding crime rates and police operations, as well as a presentation from Love & Respect Community for Recovery.

The Council will be considering a potential grant program to assist private property owners with stormwater improvements, which could affect many homeowners. Decisions will be made regarding appointments to the various boards mentioned above, and there may be votes related to mowing regulations and campaign signage.

- Councilmember Jim Player motioned to approve the minutes, and it was seconded by Mayor Pro-Tem Trevor Lance. — Passed, 3-0
- Councilmember Jim Player motioned to approve the consent agenda, and it was seconded by Councilmember Amber McKinney. — Passed, 3-0
