Public Health Advisory Committee Meeting

Notably, the Burke County Public Health Department is pursuing re-accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB), potentially being a national leader in adopting their new process. Additionally, the department is collaborating with UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health on a behavioral health initiative culminating in a community forum and meeting with Governor Fletcher on April 22nd.
