The Buncombe County Board of Commissioners will convene on June 18, 2024, to address several key community and administrative matters. The agenda includes a staff update on the Coxe Avenue development solicitation and the status of Section 5307 grant funds. Additionally, the Board will consider the approval of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council’s annual plan for fiscal year 2024-2025, which allocates a total of $865,394 to fund various youth programs, including Teen Court, Earn and Learn, and restorative practices initiatives.

Citizens may wish to attend to observe decisions regarding the reallocation of $50,733,290 in Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, as the Board will consider how to fully allocate these remaining resources.
