Additionally, the council will consider a proposal from Retail Strategies focused on revitalizing the town center and attracting new businesses, as well as exploring grant opportunities to extend the popular Cane Creek Greenway.

A significant item for public attention is the expected vote on approving Budget Amendments #4 and #5, which will directly impact funding for infrastructure improvements. The council will also be reviewing findings from a pay classification study, and considering recommendations stemming from a feasibility study exploring improvements to the Apple Country Transit bus service. Residents interested in supporting local business growth, enhancing recreational spaces, or improving public transportation are encouraged to follow these discussions.

Several important dates and events were also highlighted, including a Shred/Pill Drop event on April 20th hosted by Mills River and the regular Town Council meeting scheduled for April 8th at 6:00 PM.
