Event Preview

The Board of Adjustment will meet on March 21st to primarily consider a request from Christina Little regarding her property at 114 Louisa Street. Ms. Little is seeking permission to build a secondary dwelling on her property, which borders the Flat Creek Greenway and has an existing easement. This requires a variance from current zoning regulations regarding rear setbacks, and the Board will hold a public hearing to discuss the request.

The key decision expected at this meeting is whether or not to grant Ms. Little's variance, allowing her to proceed with the construction of the secondary dwelling. Residents who live near Louisa Street or are interested in development along the Flat Creek Greenway may want to attend or view the meeting, as this decision will directly impact that area.

Beyond the variance request, the Board also approved their agenda and minutes from a previous meeting. Additionally, they are planning to receive training on zoning regulations at their April meeting, which will be coordinated by Senior Admin Jennifer Tipton.
