Rescheduled: Infrastructure Recovery Board Joint Meeting (In-Person) (Jun 23, 2026)

The upcoming joint meeting of the Infrastructure and People & Environment Recovery Boards on June 23rd will center around two key areas: improving riverfront access and addressing critical housing needs following a recent disaster. Discussions will focus on the French Broad River Park Project, seeking feedback from board members to guide its development. A significant portion of the meeting will also involve a vote by the Infrastructure Recovery Board on reallocating $10 million from planned infrastructure projects to provide much-needed repairs and reconstruction assistance for single-family homes.
