The council received updates on several ongoing projects, including recovery efforts from Tropical Storm Helene, which are nearing completion with most debris reimbursements received. Funding has been secured for critical road infrastructure improvements and the restoration of Silver Line Park, a project many residents will be pleased to see progressing. Construction on Taylor’s Wave at Silver Line Park is underway, with the wave structure now operational; however, officials are advising against visits due to ongoing safety precautions.
